The process of converting my Pontiac Fiero to 144 volt electric car. Full video documentation of the process along with a few test drives. It runs on 12, 12 volt Trojan deep cycle lead acid batteries. Powered by a 9.1 in. dia. Advanced DC motor with a 500 amp Curtis controller. About $6,000 for EV components not including: car, tools, steel brackets for battery box, 12V wiring supplies, new break pads. Tested top speed: 70 mph. Though this was limited by the road. Preliminary range test: 30 miles without fully conditioned batteries. GO ELECTRIC!

We have personally been using ours for about eight months as of April 2009. The electric isted bike works great. Two persons can ride comfortably up to 350 lbs. This amazing vehicle is a head turner, you will be amazed at all the attention you will get for this bike. Everyone wants to know about it.
We sell brand New 100% Electric Scooters Powered by Lithium Batteries. The scooter is classified as an electric isted Bicycle in may States. The electric vehicle has working pedals and only goes up to 22 Miles per hour. The pedals do not need to be used and can be manually removed. That way you will not get in trouble using it in the Bicycle lanes. It is fast enough to get you from point A to point B and slow enough not to get you in trouble. We use ours almost entirely for our transportation needs. We have gotten rid of one of vehicles. We are saving 10,000 per year in car payments, fuel cost, maintenance, insurance and registration fees. .
It costs about $1.00 in electricity to recharge it. It does not need gas, oil, tune ups. Requires minimum maintenance(check tire pressure, adjust brakes and eventually replace tires and brakes). This electric bike is not for everyone. If you are a long distance commuter this solution will not work. According to statistics most Americans drive about 30 miles per day. This scooter is perfect for short errands around the neighborhood. Save your regular car for long commutes or when you require to travel with your family. Use this bike for short errands where most of the wear and tear occurs in regular cars.
Since the bike has a new technology batteries(lithium) the batteries will last much longer than lead acid batteries, this batteries are lighter, and will give you a range of about 25 -35 miles. Actual range will vary depending on terrain, driver weight, wind intensity, temperature,etc.
